TIMPLUS Co., Ltd. complies with related regulations such as Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (hereinafter “Act of Information and Communication Network”) and ‘Technological and Administrative Protection Measures for Personal Information’ announced by the Korea Communications Commission, and establishes this Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 27-2 of the Act of Information and Communication Network to comply with the Personal Information Protection Act and ‘Standard Privacy Protection Guidelines of the Mistry of the Interior and Safety.

2. Purpose of Using Personal Information

The Company uses your personal information only for the following purposes and does not use it for any purpose other than the ones you have previously been informed.

Member management: Confirmation of signing up, identification, maintenance of membership, prevention of illegal use of services, prevention of crime (prevention of property crime and identity theft, prevention of money laundering, prevention of terrorist funds, compliance with regulations), etc.

b. Contract execution by providing intermediary service: Checkout of goods, payment of sales price, delivery of goods

In addition, the personal information collected by the Company will be retained only until the purpose of collection and the purpose of receiving are achieved, and it will be immediately destroyed if a member requests to close the account or withdraws the consent. However, the information to be kept by the relevant laws will be stored as prescribed by the laws. - Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company processes your personal information only within the scope specified in Article2 (Purpose of Use of Personal Information) of this Privacy Policy, and provides personal information to third parties only in accordance with Article 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act such as with your consent or with special provisions of the law.

However, the following cases are exceptions.

a. When there is a request from related authorities for administrative or investigative purposes pursuant to related laws

b. When provided to advertisers, affiliates, or research groups in an unidentifiable form that does not identify a particular individual for statistics, academic researches, or market researches.

c. When the transaction is completed through the service provided by the Company and the related information is being provided to both parties to the extent necessary for the safety of the transaction.

d. If there is a request in accordance with the procedures set forth in other relevant laws and regulations.

- Consignment of Personal Information

The Company entrusts the processing of the minimum amount of personal information necessary to allow external companies to perform some of the tasks required to provide a smooth and improved service to the members. While external companies entrust your personal information, we manage and supervise necessary measures and not to violate the relevant laws to protect your personal information safely.

5. Destruction of Personal Information

Basically, your personal information will be destroyed without delay once the purpose of collecting and using your personal information is achieved. However, the information to be kept by the related laws will depend on the laws. At this time, personal information that is stored and managed separately will not be used unless required by the law.

The destruction procedure and methods are as follows.

a. Destruction Procedure

- The information entered by the user to sign up, etc., is transferred to a separate database (separate storage in case of paper documents) after the purpose is achieved, and stored for a certain period and destroyed according to the information protection reasons by the internal policies and other relevant laws.

c. You can exercise your right under ‘section a’ through your representative, such as your legal representative or authorized representative. In this case, please submit the power of attorney according to Appendix Form 11 of the Enforcement Rules of Personal Information Protection Act.

d. If you request to correct your personal information, the Company will not use or provide it to third parties until the correction is completed. However, if your personal information has already been provided, we will promptly notify the third parties of the result of the correction and correct it.

e. You can withdraw your consent to the provision, use, and collection of personal information when signing up at any time.

f. If the Company confirms your withdrawal of consent and destroys your personal information, we will notify you without delay.

g. In order to protect the personal information of children under 14 years of age, the Company does not accept children under 14 years of age who require the consent of a legal representative as members.

c. We operate the minimum access to personal information of our members and provide regular training on employees’ security skills and personal information protection obligations. We regularly check the implementation of this policy and the compliance of relevant employees to ensure that if any problems are found, immediate correction, improvement, and other necessary actions are taken.

d. Your personal information is protected by a password, and you are the only person knowing that password of your account. You can also check and change your personal information by only you who knows the password.

The Company tries to protect personal information as above but is not responsible for the leakage of personal information caused by the member’s personal mistakes or the inherent danger of the Internet.

Current Privacy Policy will be notified in the “Notice” section of the online website at least seven days prior to revision if there are any additions, deletions or modifications.
